This weekend the Rhayader and District Male Voice Choir present a grand concert in a marquee in the grounds of Walton Court near Presteigne.
The concert, on on Sunday, May 8, is being organised by the members and is in aid of St Stephens Church, Old Radnor. The evening begins at 6pm with a ploughman’s supper and which will be followed by the concert which starts at 7pm.
The guest artistes appearing with the choir are the popular singing brothers from Llidiart-Y-Waen, Ian and Roland Davies, who have been thrilling audiences all over the county with their own brand of popular songs and humour.
The compère for the evening is Philip Gayther from Llanbister Road.
The choir are once again under the baton of their musical director David Hatton and the accompanist as usual is the talented Bethan Rees.
