Mid Wales stargazers are in for a treat next week as local group Rhayader by Nature hosts an illustrated talk on the region’s stunning dark skies.
The event, led by Bob Stuart, Chairperson of the Mid-Wales Astronomy Society, will explore what can be seen in the night sky over Mid Wales. Attendees will have the chance to see telescopes and other astronomical instruments up close, get advice on sourcing quality equipment, and learn how even the naked eye can help contribute to scientific research.
The talk takes place at 7:30pm on Thursday, February 19 at CARAD, Rhayader. Tickets are £3 for adults, while children can attend for free.
