THE Crickhowell Rotary Club held a money-raising appeal to support the unfortunate victims of the Caribbean hurricane disasters and Pakistan floods, who have suffered from the Irma and Maria hurricanes and the extreme flooding caused by Monsoon rains.

Rotary members displayed an Emergency Box Tent and its contents which illustrated to shoppers in Crickhowell High Street, the life sustaining value of the boxed ‘home’

Rotary jointly with Emergency Box Disaster Relief provide the Boxes and deliver them to the hurricane affected areas. These packaged life savers provide homeless families shelter and the basic means to sustain life.

The Emergency boxes cost over £500 each and over the years the RotaryClub has sent many of these life saving boxes to disaster stricken areas over many parts of the World.

Money collected in Crickhowell by this project will be used to purchase boxes for those affected by the Caribbean and Pakistan extreme weather.
