The Builth Wells Rotary Club Quiz had a sell-out out night recently to help raise funds for Builth Wells Community Support.

A quiz is held on the third Tuesday of each month, in The Greyhound Hotel, Builth Wells. The money raised is then doubled by the Builth Rotary and the total allocated to a different charity each month.

The recipients this month, for a cheque of £320, were Builth Wells Community Support.

The cheque was presented by Builth Wells Vice President, Ciaran O’Connell to David Sutherland, Community Co-ordinator.

Builth Wells Community Support is a charity running schemes to help people live healthy, independent lives within their community.

The services are funded by donations raised in the charity shop and by voluntary giving, all of which directly benefits the people of Builth Wells and the surrounding area.
