Knighton and District Rotary Club were once again pleased to support the Knighton Churches Together Christmas Lunch for pensioners on December 20.
Rotary President, Margaret Thorp, said: “The Churches Together in Knighton provide a lunch all through the year with the help of volunteers, but the Christmas lunch is particularly looked forward to.”
Lunch Club member Roy Williams, who was a former member and president of the Rotary Club, added:
“On behalf of everyone here today I would like to thank every member of the Knighton and District Rotary Club for the generous donation towards our Christmas lunch today.
“As always it was an excellent meal.”
