POWYS Samaritans in Llandrindod Wells recently held a very successful Christmas Makeover in the Metropole Hotel.
A large and enthusiastic audience were delighted with demonstrations of cake decorating, how to make beautiful decorations for the Christmas table, sugar icing, jewellery making, folded paper trees and seasonal baskets and bunting. This was followed by the ‘pop up’ shop set in a beautifully decorated room where everybody enjoyed shopping from a large range of items coming from the Samaritans charity shop at 2, High Street, Llandrindod Wells including beautiful clothes for all ages and every occasion plus many accessories and a selection of tableware and many gifts.
The Bracken Trust Choir then entertained everybody while Christmas, evening and winter outfits were modelled by shop volunteers and friends.
All the outfits were for sale which prompted more enthusiastic shopping.
