A SENNYBRIDGE holiday and after school club has been making a splash. Youngsters who attend the Sennybridge Squirts holiday club held a party to mark the end of the long school holiday and to celebrate the news their club has been recognised as excellent. The children, all of primary school age, enjoyed watery fun with a mini paddling pool and slide at the holiday club's final day party, held at its Sennybridge Primary School base. The club, which also runs a breakfast club in addition to the after school activities during term time, has been recognised as excellent after achieving the level three mark from the Aiming High for Children accredited quality assurance scheme. Playleader Delyth Prosser said: "Throughout the summer holidays the children have enjoyed trips to local attractions such as Cantref Riding Centre and activities like arts and crafts. "We would also very much like to thank our club secretary Delyth Evans for all her hard work as, without her completing the paperwork, we would never have achieved the quality mark."
