A farmer’s daughter has brought the adventures of a sheepdog to life in a brand new children’s book.

Author Margaret Williams, who writes under the name Eleanor Williams, is the youngest daughter of Gwyneth and the late David Davies, Pytingwyn Farm, Garthbrengy, Brecon.

Margaret and her husband Peter have a smallholding in the Black Mountains area.

The book is based on a sheepdog called Buster they had on the farm and his adventures he enjoyed with all of the other animals. The adventures in the book are based on real-life events.

The book is suitable for children of all ages - from very young as a bedtime story book to older children to read for themselves.

Buster is available to purchase at Wyeside Arts Centre (Builth Wells), Wheelwrights Arms, (Erwood), The Old Railway Garden Centre (Three Cocks) and Brecon Market Café (Brecon).

There is also a Facebook page, Buster Book, where it can be purchased.

The book has already been very well received with plenty of positive reviews featuring on the Facebook page alongside photos of happy youngsters enjoying reading the tale.

The cost of the book is £10 plus postage and packaging.
