THE annual Llanbadarn Fynydd agricultural show was staged on Saturday at the Cwmmawr by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Lewis and family.

The show president was Katie Morris of McCartneys who said: “How marvellous it was to see the continued support of the local community for this event, with strong attendance and entries in the show classes.”

She went on to say: “That events like today are at the heart of community life in our villages, being relevant to all ages, and bringing the generations together.”

She concluded by congratulating the show committee for all their hard work in making the event enjoyable and successful.

Whilst the day started a little on the damp side the sun came out later and everybody enjoyed the event.

The show included horse classes, show jumping, a sheep section, along with a dog show, children’s football and races for the young people, together with a vintage section and craft and produce sections in the marquee including photography and children’s classes. The day concluded with a sheep shearing competition.
