Builth Wells Rotary Club has donated £500 to The DPJ Foundation, a leading agricultural mental health charity supporting people across Wales.
Amanda Thomas, a representative of the foundation, visited the club to share details about its work. The DPJ Foundation was established in July 2016 following the tragic suicide of Daniel Picton-Jones. It provides vital education, information, and support tailored specifically to the farming community’s mental health needs.
The charity runs a 24/7 helpline staffed by Samaritan-trained volunteers and offers fully funded counselling sessions in people’s homes when required.
Ms Thomas thanked the Rotary Club for their support and encouraged anyone struggling, or knowing someone in need, to contact the foundation free of charge on 0800 587 4262.
