Over £2,000 has been raised following a day of music, art and fun at a Breconshire church festival.
Llandefalle Church hosted the second Llandefalle festival over July 23 and 24, raising £2,222 for charity and the church, with more money still to come in.
The two-day event was very well supported and saw an array of wonderful talent on display.
Music was supplied by local musicians and was excellent, catering for all tastes, from Mozart, through to songs from the shows to Leonard Cohen and finishing with Dylan Thomas’ Eli Jenkins Prayer.
The church was decorated beautifully for the two-day event, with flowers provided by local parishioners. Peta Mellors brought her artwork - including her lifelike paintings - to display for the festival. Visitors and locals alike enjoyed their time walking around Church House Garden, which was open to the public.
The festival-goers went home well fed, with tea and an array of homemade cakes on offer.
Both afternoons were accompanied by a pair of swallows who swooped in and out, feeding their brood of three chicks.
