PUPILS in Powys have yet again outperformed their peers across Wales in their GCSE exams.

Almost seven out of 10 results (69.8 per cent) are at grades A*-C and more than one in five (21.4 per cent) are at the highest grades A* or A, maintaining the excellent performance of Powys schools in recent years.
