A PLAQUE has been unveiled at a village playground in memory of a local resident who died two years ago.
Alison Williams suffered severe brain damage following a cardiac arrest on August 15, 2012 at the family's Heol Sant Cattwg home in Llanspyddid, near Brecon.
The married mother of two passed away peacefully at the hospital on Friday March 15, 2013 and two years on, a plaque has been unveiled and the latest piece of play equipment to be installed in the park has been dedicated to Alison.
The purchase and installation of the most recent and largest piece of play equipment was made possible through funding from a number of organisations including the Alison Williams Fund, which was set up with the help of Brecon paramedic Paul Amplett in the aftermath of Alison's passing to help support her husband Richard, a high dependency ambulance crew member at Brecon Ambulance Station, and their two young daughters Cerys and Bethan.
