A BUILTH Wells woman who wrote a blog detailing her fight with a rare cancer has died.

Rhianna Thomas passed away at home surrounded by her family just after midnight on Monday, March 24. She was just 25.

The former Builth Wells High School pupil - who graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in fashion, marketing and communications, and had begun a promising career in the fashion industry with George at Asda at the time of her diagnosis - faced cancer head on when she set up a blog detailing her fight, in order to keep all her friends and family updated with her progress.

Her funeral will take place at St Mary's Church, Builth Wells on Thursday, April 3 and since her death friends have paid tribute on Facebook.
