THERE will be a second division in the Spar Mid Wales League next season and clubs from the feeder leagues are invited to apply for promotion by no later than December 31.
The restructuring of Welsh Football from next season has added to what the Spar League feel is a need for an additional tier in Mid Wales football.
A lot stems from the drastic reduction of 18 to 12 teams in the Principality Welsh Premier League from the start of next season - a decision which has not gone down well with many. This will have a knock on effect in relegation from the Cymru Alliance and the Spar Mid Wales League as it stands.
