QUEEN Victoria is famous for having said she was “not amused” but the iconic monarch would have found it hard to keep a straight face if she had been witness to all the capers going on in front of snapper Ernie Husson’s lens at the 36th annual Llandrindod Wells Victorian Festival last week.
The event was opened on Monday, August 21 by Brecon and Radnorshire MP Chris Davies and drew to a close over the weekend with a colourful Mardi Gras parade that ended at the town’s Victorian bandstand, a vintage vehicle display in Middleton Street, a suffragette demonstration, a torchlit procession through the town and spectacular fireworks at the lakeside. For more pictures see this weeks Brecon and Radnor Express
