Professional walking guide Sarah Price, known for her thriving business Walk Hay, is launching a new chapter in her journey with the unveiling of Sarah Price Hiking, a new name and identity that reflects four years of growth, creativity, and connection through walking.

The launch will take place on Saturday, 21 February, at Llangasty Village Hall, in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. The celebration begins with a free guided walk up Allt yr Esgair, a beautiful local hill overlooking Llangorse Lake and the River Usk Valley, followed by a buffet lunch, a chance to explore new merchandise, and a live “switch-on” of the brand’s new website: https://www.sarahpricehiking.co.uk/

“This launch marks an exciting new stage for me and for everyone who’s been part of the journey so far,” said Sarah Price.“Sarah Price Hiking is rooted in the same love of landscape that began with Walk Hay, but it’s also about inspiring more people, in more places, to get outside, walk mindfully, and feel part of something bigger.”

Since founding Walk Hay in 2021, Sarah has built a reputation as one of the region’s most engaging and authentic walking guides. She leads a wide range of guided walks, seasonal events, and walking retreats across the eastern part of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, the Golden Valley in Herefordshire, and mid Wales along the Wye Valley to Builth Wells.

Her work includes leading walks for the internationally renowned Hay Festival, including for Kate Humble and other well-known UK personalities, as well as working with international tour companies and serving as a local representative for a self-guided walking holiday company.

Sarah is particularly passionate about women’s wellbeing and mental health, regularly hosting women-only events such as navigation workshops and her popular ‘Beginners Wild Dip & Walk’ sessions, which combine gentle adventure with mindfulness and community.
