POLICE are continuing to investigate the cause of a crash which claimed the lives of two drivers from Brecon.

The man and woman, who had been travelling in separate cars, died following the collision on the A40 at Crickhowell, near the entrance to The Manor Hotel.

A male passenger, who had been travelling with the woman in a blue Ford Fiesta, was airlifted to hospital in Cardiff following the collision which occurred at 2.40pm on Sunday, October 26 and remains in a serious condition.

The male who died had been driving a Vauxhall Astra.

Dyfed Powys Police is investigating and have asked witnesses to contact Brecon Roads Policing Unit on 101.
