THE titles of Radnor YFC’s Senior and Junior Stockmen of the Year has been awarded to Edward Powell and Aeron Powell.

The annual stock-judging day was held at The Hendy, Hundred House, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs K Williams and family.

During the day, competitors had the challenge of competing in four disciplines; judging a ring of butchers beef, lambs, pigs and completing an animal health questionnaire. The winners with the highest overall marks were: Senior stockman of the year – Edward of Radnor Valley club and Junior Stockman of the year – Aeron Powell of Aberedw.

This year also featured a new incentive in which the winners were awarded a silver salver to keep, kindly sponsored by Dunbia. Pictured are the two winners receiving their trophies.
