International lawn and indoor bowls player Robert Weale been inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame.
Weale, who hails from Presteigne, was one of several sporting stars inducted during a ceremony at Cardiff City Stadium last week.
Weale has won six Commonwealth Games lawn bowls medals, including gold at Edinburgh in 1986 and Delhi 2010 and was World Indoor Bowls Champion in 2000.
He has also won the Welsh Indoor singles on three occasions. In August 2005 he created a record by becoming the only man to hold both titles simultaneously.
So far there have been 153 individuals from 30 different sports who have been inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame since 1989.
The others inductees last week were Kevin Ratcliffe (Football), Georgina Davies (Swimming), Helen Jenkins (Triathlon), Maurice Richards (Rugby), Craig Withycombe (BBC Wales Sports producer) and Richard Parks (Rugby and endurance athlete).
Ted Peterson (Basketball) and Mike Davies (Tennis) were posthumously inducted during the ceremony.
