RADNORSHIRE Indoor Bowling Association will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of its formation, with a day for players and members this Sunday November 22.
The events start at 11.30am with an exhibition, singles match featuring Presteigne and Radnorshire’s very own star bowler and former World Indoor bowls singles champion Robert Weale and the World number two England’s Robert Paxton.
There will be a buffet lunch for members and friends at 1pm and in the afternoon at 2.30pm the Association President Betty Morgan M.B.E. has arranged a match between six different Welsh indoor stadia, who will each provide one rink to play against a Radnorshire Indoor Bowls team. The six are Bro Dyffi, Ffrith, Islwyn, Cynon Valley, Llanelli and Merthyr.
