PENYBONT short mat bowls club are on the winning map at last after their victory over many hopefuls in the Brecon and Radnor charity triples which was held at Llandrindod Wells Bowls Centre on October 6.
The ladies fought well against some strong teams from near and far across the two counties and up to 11 teams tried in vain to topple the trio but they kept on smiling all the way to victory
The event raised over £100 for the Wales air ambulance.
