THE Bulls were soundly beaten by a strong Waunarlwydd side on Easter Saturday.
The home side attacked from deep with power and pace scoring seven excellent tries. The Bulls back row had difficulty containing Waun scrum half Jones who consistently got in behind the Builth defence bringing his strong running backs into play throughout the game.
The home side appeared to have extra players on the field as they created overlaps at will, from one of these, Fox ran in a simple try converted by Hammett. Hammet kicked a penalty and then ran in a try of his own which he converted. Back row forward Jenkins completed the scoring in the first half when Hammet put him in space with the line open.

The second continued as the first ended with another back row forward Fox charging over for a converted try. The bulls responded with a try of their own when Ben Pugh went over from a driving maul try converted by Seb Barrett.
Scrum half jones scored a brace for Waun to cap an excellent performance. The Bulls responded with an excellent try of their own through pacey centre Lex Botha, Barrett again converting. However Waurnarlwydd had the final say with a converted try to bring up their 50 points.
