A SOUTH Powys football team is looking forward to stability on the pitch in more ways than one ahead of the new season.

Cwm Wanderers Football Club of the Neath and District League is making preparations for life at its new ground at Parc Afon Twrch, Lower Cwmtwrch.

The club was forced to re–locate after their old ground at Brynderi became part of the new Ystradgynlais Primary School project.

Due to unforeseen problems with the construction of the new playing field, last season Cwm played their home fixtures at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera, but have been assured that the field will be ready for use at the start of the coming 2013/14 season.
