LLANDOVERY professional mountain bike rider Matthew Page has been voted Carmarthenshire Sports Personality of the Year for 2012, writes Huw S Thomas.

He succeeds world 400 metre world champion Dai Greene (2009, 2010, 2011) former Wales rugby star Shane Williams (2008) and ex-England cricketer Robert Croft (2007) in the hall of county fame.
