THIS dramatic picture from last year’s Wales Rally GB was taken by Hay Camera Club member Den Ozols.
Den was perfectly positioned as car no 20 driven by Yazeed Al-Rhajhi and co-driver Michael Orr briefly became airborne and then landed on its roof in the Sweet Lamb Complex stage 6.
The Saudi Arabian driver lost control on a jump and his Ford Fiesta flipped forward onto its nose and then rolled over. Fortunately neither driver or any of the fans were hurt.
Den has successfully showed his picture – called Upset at the Wales Rally – in several club displays and competitions.
