BRECON FC have signalled their intentions by applying for promotion to the Spar Mid Wales League second division next season.
Brecon, who only reformed at the start of the season, currently sit eight points behind leaders, Rhayader Town Reserves in the Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South). A top two finish would see them go up provided their facilities meet the criteria.
Meanwhile five teams from the Spar Mid Wales League have officially applied for promotion to the Huws Gray Alliance next term. Knighton Town, Carno, Llanidloes Town, Llanrhaeadr and Penrhyncoch have all submitted applications. Teams from other feeder leagues to apply are Brymbo, FC Nomads, FC Queens Park and Ruthin Town from the Welsh National league and Llangefni Town from the Welsh Alliance.
