THE Corries welcomed Grange Albion last weekend in a game which was far from entertaining for the home side.

Fielding a strong side it was a familiar story of late where the Corries were unable to capitalise on their dominance in the first half.

Paul Keddle hit the crossbar in the seventh minute and it was very one-sided for the remainder of the opening 45 minutes. In the second half, the Corries continued to dominate possession and looked the more likely to score.

Caught on the break the Corries went 1-0 down and very soon it was doubled. At 2-0 down the Corries were still in the game and had created at least 20 chances on goal.

Things got worse in the closing minutes as Adam Tebbitt was sent off for bringing a player down in the box for which Tom Dayley would be happy to emulate followed by keeper Brian Keddle who saw red literally as his choice of words wasn’t to the taste of the referee.

All in all it was a bad day at the office despite the Corries being arguably the better side all game and a bitter 0-4 loss to a team the home side do not like losing to.
