Kington Town 3 Team Dudley 2KINGTON Town held on for a vital three points when they beat Team Dudley 3-2 in this West Midlands Regional League Division One encounter.

Kington took the lead on eight minutes through Ryan Nicholas who poked home a corner before Tommy Murphy added a second.

Team Dudley, coached by former Manchester City, Stoke, Coventry and Hereford forward Lee Mills, came back into the game with goals from Jake Taylor and Lee Clarke before a stunning strike from Callum Davies put the home team back into the lead 20 minutes from time. It made for an exciting finale when Team Dudley piled on the pressure as they searched for an equaliser with Kington hitting them on the counter attack. Kington held on desperatley with even manager Sam Bowen coming on as substitiue to secure the much needed three points.

Kington are now third from bottom of the West Midlands Regional League Division One.
