WELSH darts ace Jim Williams kicked off his British Darts Organisation world campaign with victory.

The 31-year-old from Presteigne, who is the 12th seed, claimed victory in the tournament’s opening match against unseeded Tony O’Shea, who lost in round one for the third year running.
