PRESTEIGNE St Andrews manager Jamie Allen has been relieved of his duties following a 5-1 home defeat at the hands of Penybont on Friday night in the Spar Mid Wales League second division.

Tom Barr led the way with a hat trick for the visitors who have now completed a double over Presteigne. Ryan Sims and Phil Ruell were also on target with Ioan Hughes gaining a consolation for Presteigne.

Newbridge made it back to back league wins with a 3-1 home verdict over Bettws. Lyndon Jones, Aaran Powell and Alfie Stonefield netter for The Villagers with Gareth Owen scoring for Bettws.

Joe Price marked his Radnor Valley debut with a hat trick and helped see of Churchstoke in a 4-1 win at School Lane.

Former Rhosgoch striker Price, who had missed the start of the season through injury, made an immediate impact with striker Callum Matthews also netting while Gareth Sebury gained a consolation for Churchstoke.
