RADNOR Valley bounced back from their defeat at Berriew the previous week with a 6-2 home victory against Four Crosses in the Spar Mid Wales League second division.

Radnor did not have it all their own way in the first half and a dubious penalty converted by Elliot Morris two minutes before half-time broke the deadlock.

An own goal from a Lewis Morris cross increased the lead and Joe Price and Elliot Morris ended the game as a contest. Ben Sims pulled one back for Crosses but price and Oliver Jones struck for Radnor before Dale Lloyd grabbed a second for the visitors.

Presteigne pulled off a vital 3-1 home win against Newbridge with Kai Dayas giving them the lead following a corner. Josh Gardner added a second with the rebound after Dayas saw his penalty saved after a foul on Kieran Lusher.

Alan Stocker scored the goal of the game when he cut in and curled a shot into the top corner in the second half. Owain Lloyd pulled one back for Newbridge who did press in the latter stages but Presteigne stood firm meaning Mark Weiland’s side have now lost just one of their last six in the league.
