BRECON Northcote FC have been fined and had three points deducted for playing an ineligible player in a Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) fixture at Hay St Marys Reserves on September 8.

Thomas Jenkins was used as a substitute for Northcote that night while still a registered player with Brecon Corries FC although a transfer went through later in the week. Northcote have admitted the transgression saying: "It was a simple miscommunication between our coaching staff."

Meanwhile Newbridge FC have also been fined and had three points deducted for failing to fulfil their Spar Mid Wales League second division fixture at Dyffryn Banw on November 21.
