AFTER two weekends without golf due to the weather conditions, normal service was resumed at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club.

On Sunday January 24, in dreary conditions, 25 members took part in the latest round of the Winter League. Due to the odd number a singles stable ford full handicap took place. Conditions soon deteriorated and visibility became almost non existent as thick fog rolled in and settled for most of the round.

Even in these poor conditions some members found not knowing where they were going to be a bonus. First place went to Ben Davies who carded a spectacular 39 points off a three handicap, this equates to a level par round. Hot on his heels in second place was Club Captain Tony Price with a creditable 37 points followed in third by Nigel Lewis with a solid 34 points.
