IT’S been a great year for the junior section at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club, culminating with Zak and Ruben Baker both winning their age group Order of Merits in the newly formed Golf Union of Wales Junior Tour.

Zak, competing in the Under 12 section, won three out of the five qualifying events, including the Tour Finals Day at Cottrell Park GC.

Ruben topped the Under 8 section after a very consistent series of results, including a win at the Virginia Parc GC event. Joe Forkings, also of Llandrindod Wells GC, performed consistently well to also reach the Tour Finals. Joe eventually finished ninth in the Under 12 Order of Merit.
