AARON Evans posted a nett 62 to win the Sayce Cup at Builth Wells Golf Club on Sunday May 15.
There was a very good score, but all the more remarkable as young Aaron, at the tender age of 12, became the youngest winner of one of the clubs oldest trophies and headed a strong field by two shots.
Aarons whole family were thrilled to learn of his success as was PGA pro Simon Edwards, for Aaron is a product of the Clubs Friday night School for youngsters at the club which Simon runs. Builth Wells Garages were generous sponsors of the event and the prizes and trophy were presented by Martyn Evans.
