Llangorse Sailing Club hosted the Inland Championships for this class of racing dinghy.

The two-day event involved competitive sailors from all parts of England and Wales – who make good use of pubs, hotels, B&Bs, camp-and-caravan sites in the Brecon area through the weekend.

The event, consisting of five races over two days, was won by Darren and Calum Padro, from Shustoke in the West Midlands, in their boat ‘Ding Dang Doo’ .

David Morgan and Lorina Walden from Llangorse Sailing Club won the top prize for the ‘Mark 1’ Comet design fleet in a Llangorse training boat, ‘Comet Shoemaker’.

Llangorse Lake is unique in the facilities it offers for sailing.
