YSTRADGYNLAIS Rugby Club welcomed Rick O’Shea and the "Worthy Wednesdays" roadshow last week.
The rugby funny man was originally due to be joined by former Wales international Ryan Jones but instead it was Abbey Cwm Hir’s Dan Lydiate and Dragon’s coach Kingsley Jones.
The roadshows, which are sponsored by Worthingtons, are currently touring the rugby club’s of South Wales and members are invited to come and ask the rugby personalities questions before Rick O’Shea treats the crowds to a stand up show.
Sarah Davies, a committee member of the Ospreys Supporters Club attended the event and said: "It was a really good night. There was an hour of so of questions from the floor put to both Dan Lydiate and Kingsley Jones. These were mainly about the Six Nations campaign and the style of play Wales have adopted.
Someone asked whether they believed Wales kick away too much of their possession. There was also questions about the Youth teams along with the Aaademy systems.
"After this, we were entertained by a stand up routine from Rick O’Shea which went down really well with the crowds. The rugby club was full and we all thoroughly enjoyed."
