THIRTY one children from Mount Street Junior School took part in four Cross Country events in Brecon.
The races were hosted by four different Schools Christ College, Cradoc Primary School and Llanfaes CP School.
They went out in rain and sunshine and all did their best. The school is very proud of each of the children’s efforts. Mrs Davies PE Co-ordinator said: "It was great to see so many children from different schools taking part nearly all of our children improved during the races and we are so proud to have eleven medals at the end of the Season."
Mount Street Junior School were thrilled to win an individual gold medal for fastest year 6 boy, an individual silver medal for the fastest year 4 girl and an individual bronze medals for the fastest year 3 girl, year 4 boy and year 6 boy.
The children also gained gold team medals for the fastest year 4 boys and the fastest years 6 boys.
