BRECON'S good run of form was ended by fierce rivals Gwernyfed who came away from Parc de Pugh with a priceless win in the Brecknock derby.

In a game where the result was far more important than the performance, it was the green white and blacks, having gained just one win in their previous five games, who came up with the narrow three point win thanks to Mark Price's late try.
