Police have closed a section of the A40 between Brecon and Sennybridge this afternoon following a road traffic collision.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the closure is in place “before the bends of Llanspyddid” and have urged motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

The force posted on social media: “The road is currently closed due to a collision. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.”
