Police are appealing for information to help find a missing man last seen leaving hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.

David Carwyn Thomas, aged 51 and known as Carwyn, was last seen on Monday afternoon (May 4) leaving the Prince Charles Hospital.

His family have told this newspaper he is vulnerable and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

He was last seen wearing a grey jumper and grey jogging bottoms.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen him, or who has any information about his whereabouts, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to quote occurrence number 2600139178 when contacting police.

They can do so via the South Wales Police online reporting system, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. In an emergency, people are urged to call 999.
