Police were called to a Breconshire secondary school where officers confiscated five bullets.

Dyfed-Powys Police attended Brecon High School last Monday, May 16, where they seized the ammunition which was later proved not to be live.

While it is understood that parents received an alert about the incident, the circumstances surrounding the bullets are not known.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We were called after five bullets were confiscated at Brecon High School on Monday, 16 May.

“The items were stored safely before being collected by officers. They have been inspected and are not live.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
