A cyclist has died following a collision with a van on the A4221 near Coelbren.
Emergency services were called to the junction of the A4221 and Cefn Byrle Road at around 3:15pm yesterday (Thursday, May 15)
The male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The road was closed for several hours while police carried out investigation work, reopening at around 10:40pm.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or have relevant dashcam footage from the area between Coelbren and Caehopkin around the time of the incident.
