THE families of two men who died in a microlight aircraft crash near Cwmbach have paid tribute to them.
Nick Jefferies 54, and Scott Penlington, 25 died when the small aircraft plunged 500ft into a field close to Cwmbach just before midday on Sunday, September 18.
The pilot, and friend Mr Penlington were both from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.
The family of Mr Jefferies described him as "an adventure seeker who was fuelled by his love for life."
They said he "lived a life full of humour, experiences, love and the Jefferies charm" and that he "influenced the lives of many and inspired the hearts and minds of most."
The said he would want to be remembered for "his stories, advice and outlook on living a life without limits" and was loved by his daughter Emilie, son Oliver and right hand man, Norm.
The family of Mr Penlington said he was a "fun loving, kind hearted young man who lived life to the full."
The said his Twitter bio statement was "live life when you can, don’t regret just learn" which he certainly did.
The added: "We knew he was popular but we have been truly overwhelmed by the hundreds of tributes and outpouring of love for him. He always will be much loved, made us all proud and will be desperately misses."
