A motorcyclist has died following a crash on the A44 in Mid Wales.
The crash took place on the A44 road at Sweet Lamb, west of Llangurig, at 3:50pm on Friday, May 2.
The collision involved a white Ford Transit van and a Triumph motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle died as a result of the collision. Their next of kin have been informed and trained police officers are supporting their family.
The road was closed throughout the afternoon and evening and reopened just after 1am.
Anyone with information that could help police with their investigation, including anyone who was travelling along the road at the time with dashcam footage, is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, quoting the reference 290 of 2nd May.
