Police are appealing for information after a woman approached a group of teenage girls in Newtown and became verbally abusive.

According to Dyfed-Powys Police, the woman is said to have got out of a car on Park Street, adjacent to Lloyds Pharmacy, and approached the girls at around 3.45pm on Tuesday, 1 March.

Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to the force.
