A large knife has been handed into to police in Radnor as part of an ongoing anti-knife crime operation.

The blade was surrendered at Presteigne Police Station this afternoon as part of UK-wide Operation Sceptre.

Radnorshire NPT, which is a part of Dyfed-Powys Police's annual knife amnesty during the operation, tweeted a picture of the knife which has a long looking blade and a unique handle.

Officer 8079 said on Twitter: “This sharp object has been handed into Presteigne Police station as part of #OpSceptre.

“Did you know you can continue to hand such items into your local police station regardless of whether a campaign is running? #KnifeCrime.”
