FORMER Brecon High School pupil Richard Jones is the founder and general director of the Random Opera Company.

It's a new opera company based in Warwickshire, providing performance opportunities for experienced amateurs through to seasoned professionals.

Following up on successful performances in the Midlands, they will be holding an evening of operatic favourites at St Mary's Church in Brecon this Saturday, September 14 at 7pm.

There will be an exciting programme of opera favourites such as musice from the Magic Flute, Cosi fan tutte, Carmen and La Traviatta along with a few less well known gems. It will be an event for opera lovers and first timers alike to enjoy.
