UPDATE: The road has now reopened (10.07am Wednesday, 5 August).

The A40 between Bwlch and Brecon is currently closed.

A collision has closed the road, with Dyfed-Powys Police asking people to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

The road is regularly used as a main route between Brecon and Abergavenny.
